Jackuliaková is a Slovak photo-based artist, and studied photography at the Academy of Fine Arts and Design in Bratislava, Slovakia. She has lived in both Bratislava and abroad, and regularly returns to her hometown, Lučenec. Her projects are primarily influenced by her experiences travelling between home and abroad (Lom; A History of (Dis)appearing; R2), with a specific interest in the indefinite border between the permanent and the temporary. Using analog technologies, she creates photographs of the inhabited landscape and found still lifes.
